“Tely 360” saves patient life with emergency medicine

“Tely 360” Thai startup joins hands with Mahidol University to set up the EOC emergency medicine innovation saving patients’ life prior to reach the ICU.

Tely 360 Founder & CEO Kitkamon Maitree, a startup specializing in emergency medicine disclosed that the company has worked with the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University setting up the first Emergency Medical Operation Center (EOC) in Thailand. 

The EOC is the IT solution development for emergency medicine to take care of emergency patients with the international standard. Once a patient or relatives contact the center, internal staff receives an emergency call, the system will connect to the EOC to collect and process the treatment data to the hospital on time.

The EOC comprises a telemedicine system connecting with the ambulance’s communication system with electronic data record. This is the command and control center for taking care of patients. The computer system supporting the medicine function includes emergency medicine solution, emergency telemedicine and operation and hospital transfer system. The solution can also serve for the disaster operation to transfer patients to the hospital. The ambulance 3rd Eye module aids in the communication between healthcare personnel and physicians, enabling the physicians to see and hear what is going on with the patient in real time and provide appropriate and timely directions.

With an attempt to create the system supporting most patients with emergency medicine, Kitkamon said Tely 360 developed the ambulance operation center in 2017 which is the system that helps rescue teams to consult doctors for better rescue operation. The real time tracking, all data accessing in one screen continuously sending present scenes to the center. The EOC is also the training center for physicians and caregivers in emergency medicine, the incubation center for medical personnel.
