Having reopened in the beginning of June, Chiangmai&Co will organize a special workshop on term sheet negotiation in fund-raising for new angel investors.
Chiangmai&Co, a startup hub connecting tech startups and foreign startups and investors in the North, now reopens regarding the relief of Covid-19 pandemic by complying with the government’s social distance practicing with single adjustable table and high-speed internet. Members are asked to wear masks in community area and remain 2 meters apart from one another, alcohol for hand sanitizer is available.
In collaboration with National Innovation Agency (Public Orgnization) or NIA, Chiangmai&Co plans to hold a special workshop on “Term Sheet Negotiation in Action for Fund-raising” on July 2, 2020 at Siripanna Hotel, Chiang Mai during 11.30 am.to 4.30 pm. New generation investors are invited to attend the fundraising workshop learning the term sheet negotiation and meet up angel investors, VCs, startups and representatives of education institutes, on the discussion on promotion of investment in startup ecosystem by angel investors.
The workshop members are angel investors, and investors at Federation of Thai Industries, Board of Trade of Thailand, banks, university network, local startups and parties involved the startups ecosystem. The intensive content presented at the workshop cover term sheet negotiation that attendees can learn about the term sheet principle, negotiation techniques for a round of multi-investor, understanding of term sheet and the initial agreements that should be negotiated between investors and startups.
The Special Workshop is part of the “Knowledge-based development of initial investment” held by NIA for the investors network development creating a stage for startups to present their business plans to investors. The initiate aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem by which NIA plans to organize totally five events of the “Special Workshop: Term Sheet Negotiation in Action for Fund-raising. The first workshop will be held on June 16, 2020 at Oakwood and Residence, Sriracha Chon Buri, the second event on June 25, 2020 at Buri Sriphu Boutique Hotel, Hat Yai Songkhla, the third on July 2, 2020 at Siripanna Chiang Mai, the fourth on July 9, 2020 at Sima Thani, Nakhon Ratchasima, and the fifth workshop on July 16, 2020 at Novotel Siam Square Bangkok.
