Line Man achieves 300% growth

Line Man, an assisting service platform, revealed that the overall services of Line Man grew 300% during the New Year festival period.

Chanwoot Luechaisit, Marketing and Communications Director of LINE Thailand said November and December, or the New Year period, caused more usage in food delivery, parcel delivery, messenger, ordering from retail stores, and calling for taxi. Overall, Line Man found 300% increase in each of our services.

Since November, there has been a significant increase in the amount of users in each service. Line Man Food delivery serves food from over 40,000 eateries in Bangkok directly to you. A steady growth in usage has been found, amounting to over 250% increase. At the same time last year, it was found people ordered food mostly during lunch and dinner. The most ordered menu was bubble milk tea.

As for Line Man Parcel, it sends parcels throughout the country, with latest pick-up at 10pm. This is also one service that has grown a great deal due to the shopping spree on 11/11 and 12/12. We’ve found a quadruple increase in usage compared to the same time last year.

As for Line Man Messenger, it sends small packages in Bangkok metropolitan area 24/7. It is also another service with high growth rate. The most popular items people send are documents and, secondly, fashion clothes. As the end of year approached, people also send gift baskets and New Year presents, with an average delivery time at 29 minutes per round on an average 14 km distance.

Line Man Taxi, a new option to call for taxi, there has been 330% increase in usage in the first half of the year. Saturday is the busiest day, and the most trips a driver can do in a day go up to 31 trips.

Lastly, Line Man Convenience Goods makes it even easier to get products from convenience stores directly to your doorstep. It remains a popular service, especially in buying ice and soda, which are the top items people order. The closest distance people have used this service for was 5 meters.
