Three major growing groups ordering the food delivery service are housewife who taking care children at home, elderly people who don’t want to go out and students staying home during school close.

However, competition of food delivery business is aggressive, Street as a small startup needs to focus on specific area in provincial market as it could not compete with those such super apps as Line Man, Grab Food or Food Panda. More importantly, Street ’s service fee is affordable, or 15% of total purchasing order, plus special promotion with cash payment, comparing to 30-40% service fee charged by big players with the network of delivery fellows getting larger as they are motivated by a high service fee sharing from the apps.

He said that Street app has just started running and thus there is not much orders each day, however its goal is to strengthen the local economy, especially local popular restaurants which don’t have a presence on online platform, so Street app can help them.

The local popular restaurants in the Street app such as Auan Ba Kud Tae & Dim Sum, Kampangsan Pochana, Lung Auan Lad Na Bamee Kaew, Pa Kham Noodle, Pa Sumran, Pa Samran Cantucky, Ta San Boat Noodle, and stake, salad, as well as much more cooked to order dish food shops. “Our business goal is that all consumers, delivery people and local restaurants have a fair sharing benefits,” he said, adding that once the Covid-19 pandemic is relaxed, it’s a challenge of small and medium restaurants and food delivery service to be able to survive in the new normal.
