Intouch, GSB and SET invest 90 million baht in digital marketing company YDM Thailand

YDM (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a company under Yellow Digital Marketing (YDM) a startup from South Korea introduces 3 new joint-venture investors; Intouch Holdings Pcl. by InVent Project, Invest Venture Co., Ltd. and Premier Advisory Group Co., Ltd. who are managers the trust of SME Private Equity Trust Fund by Government Saving Bank (GSB) and Stock Exchange Thailand (SET).

It also introduces new 7 companies of the group in order to support the business growth in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Tanapon Subsomboon, CEO of YDM (Thailand) said the capital acquired from the joint venture this time not only helps the capital flow of the company’s operation which has grown up for 100% in every year, but it also has been used to expanded the investment and extend new businesses.

It is expected that new platforms will be released to shake the digital marketing field at least 4 platforms in this year, and new companies will be established with new executives who are very specialized to strengthen the business strategies of the group as well.  Moreover, as we have one of joint-venture investors who is YDM from South Korea who is awarded for unicorn level startup, we are able to access to advance technologies and modern platforms used for digital marketing.

YDM Thailand will focus on 4 majors digital businesses; Digital Marketing Consulting, Digital Marketing Solutions, Digital Media, and Digital Marketing Platform.

Kim Siritaweechai, Executive Vice President Portfolio Management of Intouch Holdings Pcl. said the company is interested in digital and agency business and thus performs a joint venture via InVent Project with the value of 30 million baht approximately. According to DAAT, it is expected that, in 2018, digital advertising market in Thailand will grow up for 16% which can be calculated as 14,330 million baht.  This investment also connects new opportunities to exchange new innovations in digital marketing with each other in order to create new products and services for companies and customers of Intouch Group.

Pichet Dhammavipark, GSB Senior Executive Vice President Business and Public Sector Customers Group said GSB and SET have approved 60 million baht of capital to support the capital for Thai digital entrepreneurs in order to compete and develop which will lead to advantages to the overall circumstances of digital advertising market in Thailand.
