Over 900 cases of business matching created at Techsauce Global Summit 2018

“Techsauce Global Summit 2018” was ended with more than 10,000 participants and generated more 900 cases of business matching.

Techsauce Global Summit 2018, the leading international tech conference in Southeast Asia, which gathers over 10,000 speakers, investors, startups, SMEs and participants to updating the technology trend and strengthen the competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs in Disruptive Technology era.

On the panel sessions, the event participants can learn a variety of topics such as FoodTech, Living Tech, FinTech, Blockchain or Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The event received the support from global partners such as Techstars, one of the world’s best accelerators, and Thailand’s leading companies including Siri Ventures, True Digital Park, PTT Pcl, Advance Info Service Pcl, Line Company (Thailand), dtac Accelerate, Siam Commercial Bank’s Digital Ventures, Muang Thai Insurance Pcl, AddVentures by SCG, National Innovation Agency (NIA) and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) which will exchange their insights and update the world’s trends with the participants.

At the event, 5 startups led by Startup Thailand exhibited at show booth including OneChat, Foodie, iVet, CloudCommerce and MEiD, and drew many investors’ interest.

Ms.Oranuch Lerdsuwankij, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Techsauce Media Co Ltd, the organizer of Techsauce Global Summit, said “We sold over 10,000 tickets to individuals and corporates this year. This reflects that every party is awakened to keep themselves updated about technology trend which plays a vital role in changing the world at the moment.”

More than 200 speakers shared their insights on each stage including CEOs, investors and the tech-savvy gurus such as David Brown, co-founder of Techstars, Joseph Lubin, co-founder of blockchain platform Ethereum, Mike Peng, Managing Director of IDEO Tokyo who attracted a plenty of audience in our event last year.

According to Techsauce Media, there were 912 cases of business matching. The two-day event drew over 10,000 participants, with proportion of man per woman at 55:45, from over 30 countries.

The last day was Startup Pitching in semi-final and final round. SzelesSTIM from Austria was announced the winning team, and Miro from Hong Kong won the Special Grand Prize.
