Final call for K-Startup Grand Challenge 2018

For creative startups around the world, this is a final call to mark your footprints in Asia and South Korea.

K-Startup Grand Challenge 2018 opens now to June 14, 2018. Hosted by Ministry of SMEs and Startups and South Korea National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and Thailand’s National Innovation Agency (NIA) as the co-host for the Global Audition in Bangkok on July 13,2018

The challenge is opened for startups in areas of AI, Software, biotech, IoT, digital content, UHD, cloud, wearable, fintech, gaming, beauty, logistics,5G, Big Data, blockchain, urban solutions, robotics, and information security.

The top 80 teams selected for the accelerating program will receive a total of $11,130 over 3.5 month in equal installments to cover living expenses.

The top 40 startups selected will be eligible to receive a total of $22,727 each for settlement in Korea based on their ‘Demo Day’ and Settlement Evaluation scores.

The top four teams will be rewarded with grants between $6,000 and$100,000. Impressive startups may also be offered equity investment opportunities from accelerators and local VCs.

Application is valid today to June 14. Top 80 teams selected to join Global audition in Korea during June 26 to July 20, and Accelerate Program during August 15 to November 30. The final Demo Day will be in December.
