AIAT launches AI courses for startups

AIAT teams up with academic institutes introducing 6 special Artificial Intelligence courses upskilling and reskilling startups to be super AI engineers. 

Thanaruk Theeramunkong, President of Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT) disclosed that the association has joined hands with Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University to hold the “AI innovators/engineers/researchers/startups development” program under the joint-project of “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for All” supported by the science, research, and innovation fund to promote artificial intelligence in Thailand. 

The project aims to develop manpower and AI technology awareness to support the transition of economy and society from IT to AI and develop the AI manpower and promote the use of AI as a base to drive the economy and society of the country.

He said that the training courses focus on 6 AI courses including 1.Intelligent control & Robotics 2. Image Processing 3. Signal Processing 4. Internet of Things (IOT) 5. Natural Language Processing/Understanding 6. Big Data Analytics. Thai people and students at every level, aged 15 years up who are interested in AI programming and want to upskill or reskill in AI technology can attend the online courses and they can get a certificate.

The six-week online training courses is opened on weekend for unlimited students, and those who pass the test will get the Basic AI certificate and no less than 100 people will go for the second round of two-week online and offline course and will receive the Advanced AI certificate and they can be trained with the AI related organization for two weeks. Eight people who pass the final test training will receive the Super AI certificate and go for the pitching round for one million baht reward.
