THE NEW TTSA PRESIDENT’S VISION: A BIG PUSH FOR THAI STARTUPS INTO GLOBAL ARENA

The newly appointed president of TTSA has this great vision.  Startups in Thailand will be promoted and pushed toward the international arena.  Its urgent mission, apparently, is to convince local startups to join forces and showcase their promising ideas and seek support from government and business sectors as well as international alliances.

Pattaraporn Bodhisuwan, CEO of Event Pop Co., Ltd. and TTSA new president, says that her urgent mission during the three-to six-month period is to fortify startups community in Thailand by enhancing all exchanges of knowledge, technology, innovations or ideas between startups from all activity sectors. She also plans to talk startup entrepreneurs in secondary cities into joining TTSA alliances. 

In addition, TTSA will be beating the drum for promising startups’ ideas and raising awareness about their innovations and innovative solutions, in the hope that government and corporate sectors will give them full support.

For its 2-year mission, TTSA will build network with international startups organizations and work closely together with government and business sectors to push Thai startups forward, so they can rise up to assume a prominent position in the global arena. Moreover it will team up with TA SME (Thai Small and Medium Enterprise Association) to help SMEs make a smooth transition from traditional business to digital business. Startups will help provide business solutions to SMEs by applying their technology, innovations, and ideas.

In addition, TTSA and SMEs will create a roadmap together while joining hands in organizing workshops. These workshops will encourage SMEs and tech startups to exchange their ideas and knowledge to turn traditional business challenges into digital solutions.

Pattaraporn notes that to strengthen Thailand’s startup ecosystem, government and corporate sectors as well as the public should team up with TTSA by giving startups a challenge, asking them to find and develop solutions which help them further expand their businesses.
