House Price from Thailand Joins Hult Regional Round

The final series of Hult Prize Regional Round, the Asia regional social business ideas contest opens opportunities for students to create social business models that can genuinely generate profits and make changes to society. Based on the theme for the contest “Developing an Idea to Provide Meaningful Jobs to 10 Million Young People within the Next Decade” as to inspire startups to create solutions that solve youth and unemployment problems.

The winning team and first runner-up are from Chulalongkorn University (Hult Prize at Chula) and Thammasat University (Hult Prize at Thammasat) were selected to represent Thailand at the contest this year.

During April 26-29, 2019, at Showa Women’s University and Shibuya Hikarie Mall, Tokyo in Japan, National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) or NIA and House Price, the first prize from Hult Prize at Chula with its ‘ABLE’ project, the quality services provided by well-trained disabled people so that they can get long-term employment with a company.

The mobile application is universally designed for disabled people. The application features training and e-learning lessons for disabled people in various subjects. They can select the date, time, and venue to study. House Prize, presented its business model together with 45 international teams. Aquamou from Hokkaido University was announced the winner at the event.

Apart from Hult Prize, NIA has been also supporting entrepreneurship universities to promote students to be startups or innovative entrepreneurs through several events such as Startup Thailand League, Startup Eco-build byTrue LAB, The Internship
