Seven Japanese tech startups to exhibit at CEBIT ASEAN Thailand

Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) will lead tech startups from Japan to join CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2018 showcasing advanced innovation technologies.

At CEBIT ASEAN, the National Innovation Agency (NIA) and JETRO will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a framework of cooperation to promote the promotion of startups in Thailand and Japan and to contribute to the development of the economy and the industry in both countries.

Seven startups from Japan to exhibit their innovations are:

  1. AI SILK is innovative conductive fibers produced with a dyeing technique. AI Silk is a new material that has strong and diverse application potential, even beyond the health / medical field.
  2. Habi*do is web application for energizing companies and enabling employees. The application functions are: visualized goals and actions, review and retrospection, peer recognition, and manager employee management facilitation.
  3. Kotozna is a free chat service which enables written and oral communication between locals and travelers in any language on the social media platform of their choice. Kotozna Chat utilises machine translation systems such as Google Translate, which are equipped with the capability for translation of over 100 languages.
  4. Popin is the world’s startup proposes a new concept of taking a picture, tilt with just one hand. Searching for AI images makes it possible to search any categories. It will lead to any product data related to it based on the image. Could be used for e-commerce, advertisement, image dictionary.
  5. Based in Tokyo, Rei Frontier provides the mobile application using augmented reality technology. The company analyse and sale of data behavioral data of 40,000 people collected by the company.
  6. Skydisc provides one-stop AI/IOT services that analyse data gathered from IoT sensors, in order to digitalise the events in real world. Target groups are manufacturing companies such as automotive, food, and various plants.
  7. Warrantee is a marketing tech startup who believes that the data brings “hit-the-spot” marketing strategy to companies.

Hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (TBC) and Ministry of Digital Economy & Society, CEBIT ASEAN Thailand will be held under the theme “Unlock Your Business”. Four stages at the event are d! conomy showcases all forms of innovation, d! tec the meeting place for Thai and international start-up community, d! talk the stage to inspire with know-how on big data & analytic, cyber security, and smart manufacturing, and d! campus a meeting and demo area.

CEBIT ASEAN Thailand 2018 will be held during October 18-20, 2018 at Hall 7-8, IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center.
